Suzy is a qualified HK counsellor with over twenty years’ experience.  A long-term resident of Hong Kong, she enjoys working with a diverse range of clients from various sectors of the community, including working professionals, expatriates, underprivileged ethnic minorities (including refugees/asylum seekers), and the LGBTQI+ community.

Working from a strengths-based and trauma-informed perspective, Suzy’s focus is the cultivation of an individual’s inherent skills, resilience and internal resources.  She is passionate about helping her clients grow through increasing their self-awareness, giving them tools to navigate their relationships and other challenges, and providing support and guidance through transitions (e.g., relocations, career shifts, becoming a parent).  Suzy has a wealth of experience with issues such as anxiety and depression, stress management, grief and loss, and interpersonal and relationship challenges.

Her integrative approach is adapted to the needs of each individual she works with.  She has training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), person-centred counselling, solution-focused therapy, and traumatic stress studies.  She is also a Certified Grief Educator.
